If you know anything about me, then you’ve probably read my young adult science fiction novel, The Blue Barricade, by now. There’s no reason not to since it’s free and available on multiple platforms. The problem is that even though it’s completely free, the other books in the series aren’t. You’ll have to buy them separately…is what I would have said a few months ago. However, now you can buy them all at once thanks to my latest invention: a young adult box set…in eBook form.

The Explorer is a series that came from an idea. I thought of the acronym for “AI” and wondered if it could stand for something other than Artificial Intelligence. I decided on “Aggressive Intellectuals,” which could represent a creature or a species.
Once I decided to explore this concept, I realized that what I had in store could only be accomplished through a Sci-Fi novel. I don’t really consider myself a Sci-Fi writer. I’m more of a Fantasy guy, and I plan to do mostly Fantasy novels in the future. However, I decided to try my hand at writing Sci-Fi anyway.
That’s how I ended up writing four YA Sci-Fi novels in one year. I’m proud of what I did, and I’ve learned a lot from the experience. If The Explorer ever amasses enough fans, I do have a sequel series planned. Just don’t count on reading it anytime soon. Although feel free to yell at me on Twitter about how badly you’d like to read that. Believe it or not, I’d appreciate it.
